Manufacturing

  • SPECIAL FORMULATIONS: We can formulate tablets in Rapid Release, Sustained Release, Timed Release, and Chewable formats.
  • TABLETS: We have the capacity to produce millions every month.
  • HARD SHELL CAPSULES: We have the capacity to produce various sizes such as "00", "0", "2", and "4".
  • COATING: Aqueous Coating Systems offer Clear Film, Color Coating, and Enteric Coating with pH control.
  • POWDER BLENDS: One shift alone can blend over 5,000 kg of powder. We use proper blending methods to ensure entirely homogeneous blends.
  • PET FOOD SUPPLEMENTS: SCILABS is one of only a few licensed pet food supplement processing plants in California, specializing in supplement powders, tablets and industrial pet care products.
 

Packaging

  • BLISTER CARDS: We can handle many sizes and configurations.
  • BOTTLE FILLING AND LABELING: Fully automated and semi-automated lines. Flexible for small or large runs (liquid and powder).
  • BIG CONTAINER FILLING: We can fill jars, buckets, and metal cans with powder. Ideal for protein powders or meal replacements.
  • POUCH FILLING: With heat seal capabilities, single serve pouch to large bag fills available.
 

Quality Assurance

  • FACILITY: Approximately 25,000 square feet of space, designed specifically for the production of nutritional products. The facility is temperature and humidity controlled with a central dust collection system.
  • PRODUCT INSPECTION: Each and every tablet/capsule is individually inspected through our automatic tablet/capsule sorting system before leaving our premises.
  • STORAGE: Warehouse for raw material storage. Air-conditioned room designed for finished product storage.

  • CUSTOM FORMULATIONS: Our team of qualified consultants, including biochemists, pharmacists and medical doctors can offer product formulation assistance of different dosage forms, whether they are tablets, capsules, liquids, or powder.
  • PILOT BATCHES: Pilot batches are free with the purchase of a full production batch of the pilot formula.
